Dan Dewey is driven by his passionate understanding and curiosity of how we experience the natural world and the environs that surround us. Taking the existing conditions of a site and working with them, it is his desire to consistently design and implement sustainable landscapes that are cared for in an organic fashion. Appreciating the connection between your home and the surrounding natural world is of the utmost importance in determining the character and feel of your landscape.
Dan's ever expanding knowledge of the plant kingdom provides him with the understanding and utility to create beautiful, personalized landscapes that will co-exist with a given site for years to come. It is the pursuit of education that serves as the basis for all Dewey Gardens endeavors.

For over 25 years, Susan Dewey has been a dedicated, hands-in-the-dirt gardener with a deep love for just about everything from annuals to trees and everything in between. Susan, who is also an award-winning floral designer and a Garden Club of America judge, shares Dan's dedication to creating landscape designs that are beautiful, while also meeting each individual customer's site needs, personal taste, and lifestyle perimeters.
A member of the Osterville Garden Club's board of directors, Susan has been civic beautification co-chair for the last few years, helping to design and maintain the public garden of the Osterville Historical Museum. As a floral designer, Susan's associations with such organizations as the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and the Newport Preservation Society Newport flower show, (schedule chair for 2009) are extensive. Over the last 20 years, Susan has written extensively about landscape and floral design for numerous New England publications, including Cape Cod Life, the Cape Cod Times and the Boston Globe.
